Mt. Olivet is blessed to have among its members Judge Clarence E. Horton Jr., Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church's unofficial historian, who has completed a very detailed historical review of 200 years of Mt. Olivet's history. Current available history includes the history of the church, pastors, and women's contributions.
